But rather to motivate his friends to come and stop him, thus redeeming Eldia’s sins in the eyes of the remaining humans. However, he reveals that he has already wiped out 80% of the world’s population. Eren also confesses his love for Mikasa and wishes she could forget him.
Armin convinces the remaining humans that the Alliance is no longer a threat. Leading to a ceasefire and the Titans transforming back into humans in the present day. Mikasa buries Eren’s head under the tree in Shiganshina District. Where the story began, and Ymir is finally free from her curse.
Years later, the Alliance returns to Paradis as ambassadors in the peace talks between Eldia and the other nations, negotiating with Queen Historia’s regime and what remains of civilization.
